    Foundational Years and Education

     

    The cornerstone of his creative voyage was laid at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. This educational phase was crucial in setting the stage for his subsequent achievements.

     

    Broadcast Design and Branding Milestones

     

    Following his graduation, Michael dived into the broadcast design arena with ESPN in Bristol, CT. Here, he made significant contributions to two NBA Finals and was honored with two Sports Emmy Awards, marking his excellence in the field.

     

    Michael later aligned with Troika Design Group in Los Angeles, a powerhouse in entertainment branding. His tenure here was distinguished by his involvement in launching the CW network, developing MTV's HD platform, and crafting the 2008 Olympic logo for NBC, showcasing his versatility and ingenuity.

     

    International Creative Leadership and Academic Advancement

     

    Seeking broader horizons, Michael Mikulec ventured to Rome to spearhead Frame by Frame's international creative projects, serving a clientele that spanned Europe and the Middle East.

     

    His academic pursuits took a significant leap forward at Yale University, where he secured a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. This period was marked by achievements, including the successful pitch for the Fenway Park 100th Anniversary Logo, underlining his creative prowess.

     

    Entrepreneurial Initiatives and Consulting Roles

     

    Capitalizing on the momentum from his previous successes, he initiated the American operations for Frame by Frame, playing a pivotal role as Partner and Creative Director. His consultancy work extended to significant clients, underscoring his strategic and creative capabilities.

     

    Among his notable consultancy achievements was his instrumental role in launching Curaleaf's brand, significantly impacting the cannabis industry in the United States.

     

    Freelance Ventures and Academic Leadership

     

    Mikulec then embraced freelance opportunities in Los Angeles, further broadening his portfolio with engagements including Fox Sports. His academic journey came full circle when he returned to SCAD, ascending from associate chair to Department Chair, where he led the largest Graphic Design Department globally.
